# FAQ

Quick answers about accounts, credits, models and privacy.

## Account

<details>

<summary>How do I sign in?</summary>

With your email or a wallet. There's no subscription.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Do I need accounts with each AI company?</summary>

No. One Router account and one balance covers every model.

</details>

## Credits and billing

<details>

<summary>How much is a credit worth?</summary>

1 credit = $0.001 of service. 1,000 credits = 1 GEN = $1.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I add credits?</summary>

By converting GEN on Robinhood Chain. See [Add credits with GEN](/credits-and-billing/add-credits.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>What happens if a request fails?</summary>

You're refunded in full, automatically. Partial image results refund the images you didn't get. See [Refunds](/credits-and-billing/refunds.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why did my balance drop more than a chat reply cost?</summary>

Router reserves enough for the longest possible reply, then refunds the unused part when the reply finishes.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I turn credits back into GEN or cash?</summary>

No. Credits can only be spent on Router.

</details>

## Models and pricing

<details>

<summary>Why is Router cheaper than buying direct?</summary>

Router sources inference at scale and passes about half of what it saves on to you: up to 30% below what the model makers charge directly, with the exact discount depending on the model. See [Pricing](/get-started/pricing.md).

</details>

<details>

<summary>Why is a model marked "Soon"?</summary>

It isn't switched on yet. Only live models can be used.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will prices change?</summary>

Prices come from a published price list. Changes apply only to new requests; past requests keep the price you paid.

</details>

## Privacy

<details>

<summary>Who can see my images and videos?</summary>

They're stored at public links, so anyone with the link can view them. See [Privacy and your data](/help/privacy.md).
